At this meeting, participants will be able to:

  • evaluate emerging models of care to improve quality of life for frail older adults;

  • describe health inequities experienced by marginalized older adults with frailty and identify opportunities for improvement; and

  • appraise the evidence and accessibility for dementia care, including recent novel treatments.

The educational program is primarily designed for geriatricians, family physicians, and other allied health professionals who care for older adults and are interested in geriatric health care. The program is also designed for medical students and other health professional students, as well as medical residents.
