Canadian Geriatrics Society 42nd Annual Scientific Meeting
On behalf of the 2023 Scientific Planning Committee of the Canadian Geriatrics Society (CGS), we are pleased to announce that the 42nd Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) of the CGS will be held April 13–15, 2023 in Vancouver at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre! The theme of the 2023 ASM is “Compassionate Care for All: Renewing our Passion, Recalibrating Our Compass.”
Check-in and onsite registration for the ASM will begin on Thursday, April 13, at 4:00p.m. followed by a welcome reception
from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Educational sessions will run April 14 and 15.
At the end of this conference, participants will be able to:
- adopt strategies for self-care and minimize risk for burnout;
- evaluate opportunities to advance the health of older adults amid contemporary challenges in healthcare systems; and
- develop approaches to care for an increasingly diverse and marginalized older adult population.
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Geriatric Society. You may claim a maximum of 10 hours (10 credits) for the ASM and 6 hours (6 credits) for CME Day.
This Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the British Columbia Chapter for up to 17.00 Mainpro+ credits.
